Manchester United have made a huge bid for Portugal national team player Joao Felix. The Spanish capital was quick to reject the offer with a no-sale stance.
Manchester United seem to think they are the force they used to be. The club is mired in impasse, and instead of finding a way out, the club continues to search even deeper. The club’s actions would make for a good sitcom because the lack of professionalism as well as the apparent lack of ideas in the club is worth a laugh or twice.
John Murtaugh and his team seem to wake up every morning and decide what joke to play on the unsuspecting United fans. The long attempt to sign Frenkie de Jong ended, so the club moved on to another attempt.
The club has failed to achieve many of its goals and has been spreading rumors about goals that are almost impossible to achieve. They don’t realize that no serious player will look at the chaos at Old Trafford and decide to be a part of it. The last joke is the attempt of Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix. Los Rojiblancos have rejected a huge offer from Manchester United for Joao Felix.
United make a bold bid for Joao Felix
Perhaps one day, John Murtaug woke up and decided to make an offer to buy the Santiago Bernabeu. It’s not beyond the reach of dreams and seems to be the order of the day at Old Trafford. The search for realistic goals seems anathema at United. Jokes are constantly writing themselves.
There are many rumors about Manchester United and the pursuit of reinforcements for the sinking club. The Red Devils have reportedly made a daring offer for Portugal international Joao Felix. United have made a £110m bid as the hunt for reinforcements continues ahead of deadline day.
Atletico Madrid did not give much thought to the offer as reports claimed that the Spanish club rejected Manchester United’s offer. Perhaps the transfer window should be closed immediately to spare the United fans the pain of jokes and pranks.
Atletico have no intention of selling Joao Felix
Joao Felix arrived at Wanda Metropolitano in 2019 for a huge amount. Atletico Madrid paid €126m (£113m) to Benfica to take down the uprising star.
Atletico will not let the Portuguese international go easily. They have made their position clear that it is not for sale. The media in England appears to believe that United have a chance to sign Felix.
Felix showed a shadow of what he did when he scored in a pre-season friendly against Manchester United. Atletico have announced not to sell the striker, and only the £295m release clause in his contract can tempt the Spanish giants to sell. Even a desperate United who lacked a plan would thwart that number.
Joao Felix is also not interested in leaving the Spanish capital and is less inclined to join a team that plays in the Europa League this season. Reports described the Portuguese striker as happy with Los Rojiblancos. Felix has yet to justify the massive investment that Atletico have made in him since signing him three seasons ago and he has a job to do.
