Fulham FC won the 2021/22 Skybet Championship to secure promotion to the Premier League and the world’s most watched league fans are wondering what they have in stock for the new season.

Their poor record in the Premier League since the beginning of the 2000s does not inspire much confidence in the team among the neutrals, but they will provide players who can win the league.

Aleksandar Mitrovic will lead the club’s attacking line after breaking the record for goals in the tournament with 43 goals in 44 matches he played.

Here are the players except for the Serbian that fans should watch out for from the Cotgers ahead of the new Premier League season.

Rodrigo Muniz

Rodrigo Muniz, 21, joined Fulham last season from Brazilian club Flamengo and scored five goals in 25 league matches.

His performances in those matches showed he could be the perfect replacement for Fabio Carvalho, who would have made this list but signed for Liverpool right after his promotion.

Having joined the Cotgers during the start of the season, some time to work with his new teammates in pre-season under manager Marco Silva will help him sync up more as he looks to build on his first debut season.

Harry Wilson

Harry Wilson is no stranger to the Premier League having made 35 league appearances for Bournemouth in the 2019/20 season.

He was one of Cherries’ best players that season but his performances weren’t enough to keep them from relegation. But since switching to Craven Cottage during the 2021 summer transfer window, it’s been a revelation.

The Wales international was the club’s second-highest scorer and best player overall, scoring 10 goals and 20 assists in 41 league games in which they won the championship title.

He will burn and need to prove himself at the highest level next season in the Premier League which makes him a player to watch out for.

Therese Francois

Thérèse Francois, 21, is a Fulham academy graduate and made two first-team appearances last season. He is unlikely to make a direct entry into the starting line-up but he has already shown promise as a solid player in the squad.

A move to the Premier League at the age of 21 will also help him identify top talent and aid in his development.

Tosin Adarabyoyo

The former Manchester City defender is on the edge of the England Three Lions squad due to his impressive performance with Fulham in last season’s tournament.

He retained Hosn alongside Tim Tim as he conceded only 43 goals in 46 matches in the tournament. He also contributed to achieving two goals and two assists in winning the title.

He will face some of the best strikers in the world in the Premier League next season and he will be a defender to watch next season.
