Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League side still wants to turn the heart of Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni.
Spurs’ chances of signing him may depend on how much money Inter can raise from other sales. Bastoni’s agent has said the player will remain at the San Siro – and Inter want to keep him.
However, Inter is believed to need to raise €60m by the end of the month to balance the books.
They would have preferred to sell Milan Skriniar and Stephane de Vrij. There was initial interest from PSG in Skriniar.
Tottenham Hotspur are fully focused on Villarreal defender Pau Torres with the absence of Alessandro Bastoni.
Torres has a £55m buyout clause, but Tottenham are hoping midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso can be key to the deal.
