Will Liverpool move for Harry Kane?
It sounds like an impossible task, but like Ethan Hunt, Liverpool want to make it possible. Ties with Harry Kane refused by Liverpool to disappear. Anfield would like to sign Harry Kane this summer to boost their chances of winning the Champions League and the English Premier League.
Despite his contract continuing with Tottenham, Harry Kane’s future remains a moot point even with the transfer window still in its early days. Kane has two years left to run for his contract, but there is still interest in the striker from far and wide. The England international has an impressive scoring record for club and country and has intrigued various clubs over the years.
Last summer, Manchester City wanted to sign Harry Kane and were willing to pay 150 million pounds for the striker, but ultimately decided to stay at Tottenham. Although he was unhappy last season, Kane appears more comfortable with his current situation under Antonio Conte, with a move away from North London rather than the striker. Liverpool did not stop their desire for the player at Anfield.
Problems in Liverpool
It is normal for Liverpool to have links with different players after the turbulent situation with some key staff. Jurgen Klopp wants to keep messages in his hands.
Mohamed Salah is yet to commit to a new contract, and he is causing Liverpool all kinds of headaches. Merseyside FC is in negotiations with the Egyptian striker, but the two sides have not yet reached a compromise. Salah demands more money than Liverpool is offering.
Sadio Mane has been the subject of rumors indicating his interest in leaving the club. The Senegalese striker may feel underappreciated after his contributions to the team. The talk was about Mohamed Salah, with Mane landing in the background.
Signing Harry Kane would be a huge coup for Liverpool but the chances of it happening are still fairly slim.
