Gareth Bale’s agent, Joshua Barnett, has mocked reports linking his client to a move to Getafe.
On Wednesday, Getafe sporting director Angel Torres claimed that Bale’s representatives had offered the club the opportunity to sign the Welshman and that they were studying the situation before deciding what to do.
However, the jokes were short-lived with reports including one from Fabrizio Romano stating that Barnett mocked the notes claiming he didn’t even have a Torres number.
Except: Gareth Bale’s agent Joshua Barnett has ridiculed the rumors about a Getafe move. “I don’t even have the number of the Getafe chief…” he told me. ⛔️🏴 #bale pic.twitter.com/QKoPKtocXX

Bale is currently a free agent after leaving Madrid at the end of the season as the player prepares for a new adventure. While he has been linked with a return to the Premier League, 90 Minutes knows his hometown club Cardiff City is still in contention for a double-hit for player and Aaron Ramsey.
Bale is said to be willing to cut his salary to complete the move as he wants to go home with Ramsey set to join a cheap deal as he has only 12 months left on his contract with Juventus.
