Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has given a hint about his proposed move to FC Barcelona.
The Spaniard has been strongly linked with a return to Spain with reports circulating of his desire to return and play at home after winning almost everything during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Asked about returning to Spain, the left-back said: “I have a year on my contract. I’ve said many times that I would like it but in the end, it’s not all up to me. Obviously, the desire to play in Spain is there one day.”

Apart from Alonso, Barcelona are said to be interested in signing Jose Gaya if Chelsea refuse to part with the player.
Alonso has made 46 appearances in all competitions and remains a key part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans, but the club are willing to let him go if Barcelona can pay what they want.
