Mauro Icardi staying at PSG this summer

Mauro Icardi has revealed he will be staying at Paris Saint-Germain next season and issued a passionate defense of his career after Italian media claimed she was under threat.

Icardi took to his Instagram story to address an article in Gazzetta dello Sport discussing his future with the French champions.

“My profession is under threat?” he wrote.

“I still have two years left on my contract with PSG. It doesn’t seem to differ from what was written.

“Don’t worry, I’m still 29 and people know who I am after I’ve scored nearly 200 goals. Now I’ve decided to stay here and make myself available.”

Icardi has 38 goals and 10 assists in 92 games for Paris Saint-Germain since his move from Serie A, and he is under contract with the French club until 2024.
