Sadio Mane open to Bayern Munich move

Liverpool striker Sadio Mane is ready to join Bayern Munich in the summer despite his club’s desire to tie him up in a new deal.

The Senegalese will be a free agent in 2023 and with the Reds still reluctant to offer him a new contract, the player is said to be considering his options.

Bayern Munich are interested in signing the Senegalese striker, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, and a new story by Sky Sports Germany reporter has claimed that the Liverpool striker is open to a move to the German champions, which is shown in the tweets below.

The reported fee is believed to be in the region of 50 million euros if a deal is struck, which could be a deal for Bayern as he will get a player who has scored 120 goals for Liverpool since joining from Southampton.

The player is said to be monitoring the club’s position with Mohamed Salah, who has not yet signed a new deal because he wants a suitable increase in his current salary. There have been reports that Mane’s agent wants to earn his client something close to what Salah will get and will use the Egyptian New Deal in their negotiations.

If they fail to agree a deal, the Merseyside club may have to consider selling Mane in the summer or risk losing him on a free transfer next year.
