Borussia Dortmund set to appoint Terzic as Marco’s successor

Borussia Dortmund are expected to name Eden Terzic in the Bundesliga to succeed Marco Rose, with an announcement likely this weekend, according to a Sky Germany report.

Terzic, now the club’s technical director, will return to the managerial job one year after leaving the role for Rose.

He led Dortmund through the second half of last season, originally taking over from sacked Lucien Favre in December 2020 and leading him to win the German Cup the following May.

Favre, who has been out of work since despite holding talks with Crystal Palace last June, is expected to be appointed as Borussia Moenchengladbach’s new coach when current manager Adi Hatter departs this summer.

The Swiss is set to sign a two-year contract to return to his former club, which he ran between 2011 and 2015.
