Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has called on the club’s fans to bid farewell to Gareth Bale in his last home game when he faces Real Betis on Friday.

The 32-year-old has made just seven appearances in all competitions this season and is set to leave as a free agent when his contract expires in the summer.
Ancelotti said: “Everyone knows that Bale’s contract expires and that he is leaving Real Madrid this year.”
“It is not important that he plays. The important thing is that Bale is part of the history of this club. He will always be remembered by the Real Madrid fans.
“It was very important for the Tenth (their 10th Champions League title) and the Copa del Rey final.
“He’s written some great chapters for this club, it’s important to realize that.”
Bale has won three La Liga titles and four Champions League titles since joining from Tottenham in 2013, but his time in Spain was marred by injuries.
