🚨 Ornstein Exclusive: Paul Pogba has decided to move abroad

Football journalist and Athletic correspondent David Ornstein has revealed that Paul Pogba has decided to move abroad.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from United with rivals Manchester City, who is keen to secure his services. However, recent reports have claimed that the Frenchman has refused a move to City due to a possible backlash from United fans.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Ornstein believes this has not necessarily been the case with Pogba and United preparing to split this summer.

He told Sky Sports News: “I don’t think Pogba and his representatives would have enjoyed the interest from Manchester City.

“I think it was just a mutual opportunity that arose as a free agent. Perhaps Manchester City were clear in what they could do financially and from a sporting perspective, as well as other clubs that said they were interested – the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

“As I understand it, Pogba decided to choose one of the other options, as simple as that. So I didn’t realize it was something before me, although that was probably a consideration on his mind.

“I don’t think he will stay at Manchester United. I think they plan on life without him and he plans on life without them.”

Pogba’s contract with United is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
