Gabriel Jesus still keen on Arsenal move

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus is still keen on a move to Arsenal despite the club’s prospect of losing football in the Champions League.

The Brazilian was not a regular fixture at the club and only had the right chances at the end of the season and with the acquisition of Dortmund striker Haaland his chances dwindled even further.

The 25-year-old, who has only a year left on his current deal, has already started positive talks about a £40m-£50m move to the Emirates, but according to The Sun, his entourage could change their position if the North London. The club failed to reach the Champions League which they consider a priority.

The player’s agents have already admitted they are impressed with the project built by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, as well as suggesting the Premier League is the “NBA” as they seek to find another Premier League team for their clients.

The 3-0 defeat away to Tottenham on Thursday before the disastrous 2-0 loss to Newcastle sees Arsenal in need of a miracle not to play Europa League football, and they hope to attract top players if they fail to cut back.
