Leicester City chairman Brendan Rodgers has admitted he would like to keep Yuri Tillmans at the club ahead of a potential summer transfer.
The midfielder is believed to have told the club of his intention to leave King Power in search of a club that could guarantee him titles as his final year at the club drew to a close.
Ahead of their game at the weekend, Rodgers said of the Belgian: “We want to keep as many key players as possible, and Yuri will come in with that, but it’s not up to ourselves, it’s a two-way thing.
Arsenal have put Gabriel Jesus at the top of their list after new direct contacts from the player’s side. He is expected to leave Manchester City after the Haaland deal, and there are no direct contacts between the clubs yet. 🇧🇷 #AFC
Youri Tielemans is part of the roster too, highly rated – UCL football could be key.

“The club needs a dose of hunger, but any team wants it. We’ve had great signings, but you need to reintroduce hunger with some new signings and quality. That will be the challenge for us in the summer, especially when there are clubs that have more money.”
The Belgian has been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal with Manchester United and a handful of European clubs are said to be monitoring his situation.
