KPL: Sofapaka earn walkover after Mathare fail to show up

Sovapaca FC got two goals and three points after Mathare United’s side failed to appear in the match.

Mathare United and Suvapaca were scheduled to face each other on Friday 5 May in the FKF Premier League Match of Round 28 at Moi International Sports Center Kasarani, Nairobi. However, the slum boys failed to make an appearance with Batuto Pa Mungo who took three points with a 2-0 score.

“Our match against Mathare United did not take place after our opponents failed to show up for the match. After that, we got two goals and three points,” said a statement issued by Sovapaca.

The Slam Boys are now on the back foot with the return leg results cancelled. With the FKF out on Tuesday, it is not clear if the landing will be certified.
