Mikel Arteta has revealed that Arsenal are planning to keep their best players this summer.
Arsenal are keen to rebuild their squad ahead of the new season and Arteta says he has no plans to lose his best players this summer. Arsenal are aiming to get back into the top club competition in European football and they want to have a competitive squad.
“What we want to do is improve the team and the team,” he said. “No player can’t improve. We want to keep our best players for sure and add quality and depth.”
“We have to be prepared for when and why. We can control those timings. Sometimes it’s unavoidable but we want to keep our best players.”
The Gunners are currently fourth on the record with 63 points and will host Leeds United on Sunday in the UAE.
