French midfielder Aurelien Chuamini has broken silence on his future at Monaco.
The combative player is one of the most sought after players and is expected to attract a bidding war from some of Europe’s best teams, but reports suggest he wants to play in the Premier League.
The player, who has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Manchester United, has thrown his future into the air by saying he will see what happens in the summer.
“I’m contracted here (Monaco) until 2024 with an option until 2025. We’ll see what the future holds for me. The transfer window is always a period when a lot of things can happen.
“There is my personal case, but there are cases of many other players whose contract has expired or who may have desires elsewhere,” the player was quoted as saying.
Liverpool have the upper hand in the fight for the player as he will play in the Champions League but the desire to play for United and a new manager with a good salary may be difficult for the player to turn down.
Chwamini had another great campaign for Philip Clement’s men, making 47 appearances in all competitions, and he has been linked with PSG and Real Madrid as well.
