Barcelona received a strong boost from injuries before Real Betis faced Oscar Mingueza and Martin Braithwaite’s return to training.
However, Barcelona will miss the services of Gerard Pique who has been suffering from the injury since he suffered a thigh injury against Eintracht Frankfurt. The club’s doctors seem quite optimistic about bringing him back to the place of choice.
With the date of the Real Betis match approaching, Barcelona confirmed that Pique suffered from a flare-up of tendinopathy affecting the adductor muscles, which means that it exacerbated the thigh problem.
Meanwhile, Braithwaite and Oscar Mingueza have recovered from the coronavirus and are back in group training, Gerard Romero reported.
The Catalans meet Real Betis on Saturday away from home, after which they face Celta Vigo (at home) and Getafe (away) before ending the season against Villarreal at the Camp Nou.
