🎽Liverpool unveil new kit for 2022/23 season

Liverpool Football Club has revealed its new home kit from Nike for the 2022-23 season.

According to the club, “The Nike range is sustainably made, with matching jerseys on the field and made from 100 percent recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles.”

The kit is inspired by the ‘Scouse Solidarity’ stance, the bold and no-nonsense design reflects the mindset of its people, the mentality that makes Liverpool unique.

“We are all very proud to wear the Liverpool FC jersey and to be part of the Swoosh family,” Henderson said. “We know exactly what this shirt means to our fans, and we can’t wait for it to run out at Anfield.”

On the back of the shirt, the 97 logo encased in the Eternal Flames sits proudly at the nape of the neck in memory of the children, women and men who lost their lives in the Hillsborough tragedy.

The change from 96 to 97 is a tribute to Andrew Stanley Devine, the 97th person unlawfully killed as a result of the Hillsborough disaster.
