Roma admit Thiago Pinto is happy to shop in the Premier League in search of talent.
The Serie A giants have been tempted to woo top-tier English players in recent years with the likes of Chris Smalling, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Tammy Abraham all recently moving to the club.
Smalling and Abraham have played a key role for Roma in their season and their Premier League experience will count as they look to deny Leicester City a chance to reach the Europa League final.
“In recent years, not only Roma, but these English players are also open to leaving the Premier League,” Bento said before facing Leicester.
“There are many clubs that have strong youth academies, but don’t have a lot of time to play, so they go abroad to find a place like Tammy Abraham, Jadon Sancho, or Fikayo Tomori. The rhythm of the Premier League is amazing, so they are in good shape. We were We are fortunate with the players we have signed from the Premier League, as they have settled well.”
The first leg of the semi-final that was held in England ended in a single draw, and Mourinho hopes to write history with Roma in the competition.
