Super soccer agent Mino Raiola has died at the age of 54 after a short illness.
Raiola has represented a host of notable footballers including Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba. The agent required hospital treatment in Milan earlier this year, although the nature of his illness has not been publicly confirmed.

Forbes estimated Raiola’s value at £62m last year, with claims that he earned £20m from Pogba’s return to Manchester United in 2016. The agent’s football career began in the early 1990s while working for Dutch company Sports Promotions.

Raiola oversaw the 1993 sale of Arsenal great Dennis Bergkamp from Ajax to Inter Milan while working on sports promotions.
In 1996, he negotiated the transfer of Czech Republic player Pavel Nedved from Sparta Prague to Lazio on his own.
Raiola also worked with Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku and Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard, although they eventually split from him.
