Newcastle United defender Fabian Schar has signed a new two-year contract with Newcastle United.
Char was a regular fixture under Eddie Howe at St James’ Park, playing in 22 of 24 league and cup games under coach Magpies.
“I was pleased with Fabian’s level,” Howe said. “He is the ultimate professional and a very important player in our dressing room.”
“I am happy that he has committed himself to the club. He is very excited about the success in the future and I am happy that he will be a part of our future.”
