Mitchell van der Gaag will be Eric ten Hag’s assistant coach when he is handed over to Manchester United.
The 50-year-old is the right-hand man for Tin Hag currently at Ajax and will follow his boss to Old Trafford according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who claimed United paid him a compensation sum as well.

There have been reports that the Dutchman will select former England boss and Sir Alex Ferguson’s assistant, Steve McClaren, as part of his new back-staff, but that will not happen with Ten Hag calling him to inform him of the same.
