Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
Both players missed Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final match against Benfica, which saw Liverpool advance 6-4 on aggregate but Klopp is confident they will be available to face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.
“We (Van Dijk) missed us; we played the last line completely new and lost the last line boys if I wanted to. (Van Dijk) was not hurt. Diogo took a hit in the first half, I know. About knock Mo, I don’t really know, no one told me distance.
“I changed my physical job and no one told me Mo had a problem, so for now everyone should be fine,” Klopp told the club’s website.
